In cooperation with the Malawian company Going Green we are setting up a factory to produce clean cookstoves, our MiG BioCooker.
The production will take place in their own premises in Malawi.
The intention is to start production this spring/summer and it will create jobs for the local population.
In the beginning of 2020 Lukong from Make it Green visited the production site in Malawi and together with the team from Going Green, he could continue to complete the steps required to get the production going.
During his visit to Malawi, Lukong also visited the local experts working on sustainable and effective solutions for Malawi's population. The result and the response were very positive and resulted in two invitations to local exhibitions specially aimed at clean cookstoves and deployment of Biochar Technologies for good environmental practicies, which is always an equally relevant topic in the country.
